Mechanism:

Ceftazidime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is bactericidal in action exerting its effect by inhibition of enzymes responsible for cell-wall synthesis, primarily penicillin binding protein 3 (PBP3).

Product Features:

Ceftazidime is especially effective for immunocompromised patients with infections, hospital infections and central nervous system infections caused by gram-negative bacilli or pseudomonas aeruginosa.
